ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Are you outgoing and customer-focused? Do you enjoy working with the public? If you answered yes to these questions, working for a State Farm independent contractor agent may be the career for you! State Farm agents market only State Farm insurance and financial service products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist customers with policy applications and renewals.
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide timely responses.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
  • Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
  • Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
  • Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Customer service skills, including active listening, problem-solving, and conflict resolution
  • Property & Casualty License (must be willing to obtain)
  • Sales skills, such as relationship building, product knowledge, and upselling
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Organizational abilities for handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools and office software
  • Motivation to achieve goals and willingness to complete necessary licensing exams

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
